Julie Murphy (voice) and Ceri Rhys Matthews (wooden flute) are founder members of groundbreaking Welsh folk group fernhill. Together they perform traditional songs from the Teifi valley and beyond. Their exquisite musical evocations of landscape and culture are timeless and their musical rapport is breath for breath.

They live in Pencader, and are internationally respected artists who have toured worldwide. Their music has been featured on BBC Radio 3's In Tune and Late junction, BBC Radio Cymru, Radio Wales, BBC Alba, BBC Radio 2 and stations across Europe.
