Llandysul & Pont-Tyweli Walking Weekend 

This 2026 Walking Weekend took place on Friday 25th September until Sunday 27th September. It began with an historical tour of public houses, hotels and parlour pubs with members of the Llandysul Local History Society. Over the weekend there were woodland trails, riverside rambles, and an 11mile section of the Teifi Valley Trail was walked. For our younger walkers, the highlight was a fun-filled "We're Going on a Bear Hunt!" in Llandysul Park.

Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli are at the heart of the Teifi Valley and have held the Walkers are Welcome status since 2009. There are a network of trails catering for various experience levels and interests which our Volunteer Walk leaders explore on our monthly guided walks.

Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli Walkers are Welcome encourage all walkers to carry an *In Case of Emergency* card on group walks. It could save a life — yours or someone else’s. Include your emergency contact, medical needs, and allergies.

Beyond the Trails

After a refreshing walk, unwind in one of Llandysul's welcoming pubs or cafes and take a wonder through town and visit our shops, and artisans. There are a range of accommodation options in Llandysul and the surrounding area, from cosy B&Bs, camping and caravaning, to charming hotels.
