Welcome to
Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli
Llandysul is the most southerly town in Ceredigion, with the river Teifi forming it’s southern border. On the opposite bank, Pont-Tyweli is one Carmarthenshire’s most northerly villages. Although the county boundary separates these two settlements, the River Teifi is also what joins them as one community.
Visit Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli
Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli are at the heart of the Teifi Valley, famous for fishing, water sports, and for walking. Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli achieved Walkers are Welcome status in 2009. There are hotels, B&Bs and self catering cottages in and around Llandysul. We are within an easy drive to the beaches of Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and Carmarthenshire. This is a great spot to explore West Wales.

The future of our community is our youth and there are many activities in the community from Scouting to Sports, as well as two youth clubs. Our school is Ysgol Bro Teifi which caters for children from nursery age through to A-levels and was opened in 2016. It was the first purpose-built Welsh-medium all-through school.
