We at Ymlaen are passionate about Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli, and more importantly the people. We want to help the area and people thrive. Re-imagining Llandysul as a connected, vibrant small town is a community – led project focussed on bringing together culture, economy, and well-being to help shape the future of Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli. The project has been brought to us by Aberystwyth University.
The project will be run by our project co-ordinator Gemma Jones, born and raised locally from near Betws Ifan until the age of 9 and local to Llandysul from then onwards, with young children being raised in the area now, Llandysul really is and has been for a long time at the heart of my life, which makes me feel passionate about the project and making sure it makes a positive impact.
Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli Ymlaen Cyf is a community organisation based in Llandysul.
We are funded by the UK Government through the Cynnal Y Cardi fund and aim to enable Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli’s community to access essential services and social opportunities.
