Llandysul and Pont-Tyweli 2020 Walking Weekend

Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September 2020

Walkers walking uphill in woodlandBelow is the programme for our 2020 Walking Weekend.
There are less walks this year and no evening entertainment, as we aim to keep ourselves as safe as possible during this time.   We were uncertain if we could hold a walking festival but the walk leaders have done a great job to put together four walks during a very challenging time.

When you come to book on the walk you will need to confirm that you have read the Information below and will need to complete a Covid-19 Self Declaration on the booking form. You will also need to do this at the start of the walk.  We will keep your contact details for 21 days after the end of the festival for Track and Trace purposes.

Thank you for your support.

  • You will need to book a place on the walk and there is maximum number of people on each walk.
  • During the walk, we ask that you keep 2 metres distance from each other, unless they are a member of your family group.
  • Please bring hand sanitiser for gates and styles.
  • Please bring a face mask.
  • If you feel unwell before the walk, do not come, but please let the walk leader know that you are not coming.
Find out more about COVID-19 on the Public Health Wales website: https://phw.nhs.wales/topics/latest-information-on-novel-coronavirus-covid-19/
  • Each walk costs £3 per adult, free for children under 16.
  • Dogs are welcome on walks 2 and 3.
  • There is no minibus transport.
  • Walking boots, warm and waterproof clothing to be worn on all walks.
  • Rucksack with water & snacks are recommended. On longer walks there will be a lunchbreak.
  • All four walks are Moderate - for people with good fitness level, includes steep paths, open countryside, brisk pace.
  • Walk leaders can refuse to accept any walkers considered to be inadequately equipped.
  • The programme may change in unforeseen circumstances.
  • Participants are advised to arrange their own insurance to cover any loss, damage, accident or injury to people or their property, as Llandysul & Pont-Tyweli Ymlaen cannot accept responsibility.
