Teifi Loop Walk (Brown Route)
Approx three and a half miles,( 1.5 hr) Hard surface throughout. Gradual slope for half a mile and downward hill towards end of journey.
Start from Woodland Trust car park on Llandysul – Capel Dewi road. From car park follow the road past Faerdre Fawr. 200 yds ahead you bear right signposted Llanfair. Along this route there is woodland to your left and the slow moving winding River Teifi to your right. Passing Llanfair Lodge on your left with its terraced garden you reach Llanfair Farm. Leaving the farm the road follows through conifer trees on either side. On your left in the trees there are some unusual rock outcrops. Leaving this road bearing left as you reach a Lodge, the road rises gradually following the Clettwr Valley on the right. This road will lead you to the main Llandysul-Capel Dewi road. Turn left passing Penrhiw Farm and downhill all the way to the Woodland Trust car park.
